Important information regarding Leisure Weekend:
If you have been to a competition before, you know the routine. However, this year, to help things run a little smoother and bring back some school spirit, the following changes will occur:
- 2011 features the return of the coveted team "traveling trophy" (but it is actually a plaque) awarded to the best overall institution. The current champion, Radford University, will bring the plaque to this year's competition and it will be up for grabs again this weekend!
- Eligibility forms should be faxed or scanned and emailed to James Contratto (contact infor included below) no later than Monday, January 31, 2011. Unlike last year, there is no requirement to turn in the originals at check in. HOWEVER, please bring them just in case your faxed or emailed copies were not legible. Also don't forget forms for any last minute substitutions.
- If forms are not sent ahead of time, they may be turned in at check-in, but your school will lose points toward the "traveling trophy" award. Students will not be allowed to participate without a properly completed eligibility form.
- Advisors ONLY are to check-in students. If an advisor is not traveling with your school, the group should elect one student to check in the group.
- Because the opening session contains lots of valuable information for all participants, Attendance is MANDATORY. Students not attending the session will be DISQUALIFIED without refund.
